Izzy
Hello, I am Izzy. I have been with Thanet Cat Club for a while now but it always seems that my neighbours are chosen by humans and not me and I just don’t know why. Although I am safe and well looked after, I have decided that I need to look for my forever home and someone to look after me, even though everyone here will miss me, I am sure.
I love to be in the company of people and like nothing better than sitting on a warm lap having a fuss and being brushed from head to toe. I am actually a boy cat but some have suggested that I have a girl’s name – preposterous – do I look like a girl to you? Anyway, I like it.
Although some would consider me to be mature, I still like to run around chasing my toys just as I did as a kitten. I will even let you join in if you like. I would love to have a nice garden to play and relax in with you, but I would prefer to be on own so that I can have your full attention. Other cats can be so annoying at times.
I would love to meet you if you could offer me a nice new, loving home. If you are unable to help, then please can you share my post to help find someone for me?
If you would like to meet me, then please contact my human personal assistants by either calling them on whatever a ‘phone number’ is, or sending an email. I have heard that some people use a mouse to send emails, but that just sounds odd to me. Anyway, they will then be able to help me check my diary.
Clearly I have had to have some assistance to write this message, as my spelling isn’t that good, so hopefully the humans manage to tell you everything I want them to, but I will be happy to chat with you when you come in.
Human PA (by the sounds of it): If you think you might be able to offer Izzy a home, you can call us on 01843 579044 – there is an answerphone, so please leave a message including your phone number and we will call you back. Alternatively, you can email thanetcatclub@live.com – please remember to include your phone number so that we can call you.
Update (22nd March 2019):
Izzy is waiting patiently. He has been told that some people have shown interest in him after his appeal, so he is waiting to see if he can see them. In the meantime, he continues to be very affectionate and loving any attention he is paid.
